The journey of the Angel of Death's emissary, who accompanies an adventurer whose fate is sealed on his final mission to deliver an orphaned child to the remnants of his family after a brutal attack that murdered the child’s parents. Along the way, while Death is meant only to escort and seal destinies, he begins to examine the meaning and limits of his role, asking for the first time whether there are moments in which death is not merely an inevitable end, but, paradoxically, something that can save a life.
